I’m more concerned about you using Avast than encountering "worthless programs." Back in the day, we relied on Avast at work and it flagged Chrome and Office as unnecessary. We depend on Chrome and Office for our tasks. lol.

Avast usually shares such information, often trying to encourage higher payments. I just disregard it.

Hmm, Chrome bundled with it lately? It seems to have been disabled in the past six months... Consider enabling silent or gaming mode.

Shut down the unnecessary software. Be concerned only if your device feels unusually sluggish or if you're downloading questionable files.

They’re trying to push upgrades; you can reinstall Avast without the extra tools or bloatware, or try BitDefender Free. Use CCleaner instead of focusing on Avast. Note: If browsing feels sluggish, check Avast’s “Web Scanner” which scans links and scripts aggressively.
