I bought a Windows 10 Pro license years ago and used it regularly. After Windows 11 became fully available, I upgraded and kept using Windows 11 Pro for a while. Recently, I reset my PC as usual. When logging into my Microsoft account, it didn’t recognize the key and refused to activate. It showed an error: "Hardware changed – please check internet connection." The store redirected me to buy a new license but reported activation problems. I understand I can get cheaper keys from third-party sites, but I don’t want to spend money when I shouldn’t.
