Hello, I'm trying to figure out what's going wrong with my PC. It's been acting up since I set it up, and I'm really struggling to understand the problem. Recently, Rainbow Six Siege kept crashing, sometimes more than once per game. But last night I played Baulders Gate 3 too, which also had crashes. It's not just these two games—some titles will crash one day and then work for a while. I'm starting to feel confused, and any advice would be super helpful. Also, occasionally the whole system shuts down instead of just a single game. Here are my specs: OS is Windows 10 x86 (32-bit) or x64? Original OS? Was it installed as an OEM version or bought from a store? Age of system is about 5 and a half months. CPU model: Intel Core i9-13900K. Video card: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090. Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E. Power supply: CORSAIR HX1500i. WiFi: WiFi 6E LGA 1700.

Your CPU cooler is the CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE LCD XT. Your GPU drivers are current, Windows is fresh, temps stay below 90°C most of the time, hovering near 70°C, and I’m not sure what you meant by the first latest BIOS.

You need a way to verify their current status, such as checking online or contacting them directly.

If it's not available, I'd just set up the Asus Armory Crate to verify the newest drivers for your motherboard. If you haven't done that yet, installing the latest Nvidia drivers would be a good next step. The link I shared comes from your motherboard's support site. You're likely missing the most recent UEFI/BIOS updates since they were released on June 16, 2023. Armory Crate should handle updating everything for you. Feel free to return and tell us how it goes and whether it resolves your problems.

Please clarify whether you mean a crash affecting only Windows or a complete PC failure resulting in a blue screen.

It can happen both times—sometimes it's just a game crash, other times it's a full PC crash.

I already have the armory crate set up, but I’m unsure how to check if it’s the latest version.
