Before turning on my PC, the "Voltages CPU VDD" hit 1.525v in HWMonitor now it stabilized after reaching its peak maximum. It usually stays near 1.44v during gameplay, but spikes to about 1.45v when loading or shading in/out. Cyberpunk runs at roughly 90% PPT, Cinebench R23 hits 91% with TDC and EDC at full capacity, and CPU power sits at 97.67 watts per Ryzen Master data. Ryzen Master lists a peak core voltage of 1.478V and PPT of 142W, while HWMonitor shows 1.444V VDD and 1.45V Vcore. However, a quick extended test gives 24,846 multicore readings which seems low compared to forum reports of around 5950x at ~30k. I’m unsure if any settings are off, especially since I’m using Gigabyte’s default BIOS with PBO enabled. My Ryzen Master confirms TDC up to 95A and EDC up to 140A, but the CPU VDD has already reached 1.525V and exceeded 150W before. Edited June 27, 2021 by Daethz

Earlier conversations assumed standard voltage levels. 1.525V remains slightly elevated for peak, while 1.4-1.5V is typical and matches your current reading.

From the amount of heat it generates, I've been worried since I first received it. She's stable now after my recent upgrades, but she still tends to increase fan speed suddenly and jump 10-20°C often. My thoughts are stuck in mid-range Intel chips where a 1.5V signal would mean the chip is overheating or damaged.

It seems your RAM might be limiting performance, especially with a lower frequency setup. Consider checking if other components are bottlenecking your results.

Your system is around 28,000 and seems a bit underpowered. Could you share your RAM speed and clock speeds?

stock configurations, no manual adjustments needed. Only XMP is used—it's a G.Skill royal kit, so I'm not even sure if it's a Samsung Bdie (the computer was originally built from NZXT before I...rebuilt it in a new case with a new PSU).

I also have it in the secondary RAM slots, since I’m unsure the heatsink will fit under the Noctua-DH15 in the first slot. I’m not sure or hoping it isn’t causing too many issues.

Yes, it is a 2x16GB kit.
