Your online connection is quite slow.
Hey there, I saw you're experiencing slower internet than expected. You're paying for 300Mbps but only getting what you see on the speed test page. It looks like your connection might be affected by something beyond just your device. Check if your router is working properly, ensure it's placed centrally, and verify the cable connections. Also, consider testing with another device to rule out local issues.
pc: mobo-msi a88xm e35 GPU rx 460 2GB RAM, CPU amd x4 750K. Gateway model asus fx 01161. Possibly similar units exist nearby—let me know if this fits what you're looking for (I’m not very tech-savvy online).
It appears you're connecting to a network switch. Could you tell us the modem or gateway model? Also, what kind of internet connection do you have? That should help us identify it more accurately.
Check, I’m not sure which one is the gateway device. My internet provider just bumped my speed to 600mbps, but I’m still seeing 90mbps on speedtest.
I believe the item on the left is a switcher, the one at the bottom seems to be a router, and I think that's about all I understand. The cables come out from the white/grey t-connector boxes on the wall.
The Asus FX box supports only 100Mbps, so you'll require a gigabit switch. For the router (black box), we'll need its specific model to confirm it has gigabit ports.
Your router model is TP Link Archer C2, which means it should function properly without issues.
Also, can you tell me what that white object at the back is? I'm curious about it.
