Hi! I received an OEM motherboard with an HP Elite Book 800 G1 Turbo. I’m interested in upgrading the power supply, but the connector looks different from standard PSUs. Could you share photos of the board and connectors?

It seems the device isn’t designed for immediate use out of the box. However, you can make it functional by connecting multiple adapters, though this approach requires effort and isn’t commonly pursued.

The motherboard doesn't support a complete ATX power input, meaning manual adjustments aren't possible.

Sure, I can help with that. If I had the right pinout and enough time, I’d go for it. For a low-quality OEM board, it wouldn’t be worth the effort unless I could find a decent dual 771 board. Then I might reuse some PSU extension cables. Proper splicing would take a lot of work—soldering, checking pinouts, and making sure the PSU isn’t damaged. For this particular board, it probably isn’t worth it unless you’re really into it and have a good setup.

However, this item seems a bit too costly!
