I'm running at 5.1 1.35v in BIOS 1.28vrvout underload, with small SSE 200w and no errors detected. The same happens with medium and large AVX2, though it fails on small AVX2—still passes realbench and cinebench. It seems stable overall.
How much performance are you looking for? It’s not a perfect fit. Is it reliable for your tasks? Possibly. That’s the point. My standard was whether the system would fail without any other cause. When I received the approval (around a 4.7 rating), it still crashed. Eventually, I had to accept a 0.5ghz boost when others achieved 1.5ghz with better chips. That’s why it’s often called the silicon lottery. One way to describe it is repeating the same mistake expecting a different outcome. This question keeps coming up four times now. I’ll share the most encouraging response you’ve seen so far, even though you’re asking the same thing repeatedly as if there’s only one correct answer. It might not be stable for your use, but it could work for you. Probably unstable for others, yet acceptable for yourself. I think many overclockers end up this way. If I could tolerate a crash once a week, I’d push my machine to 4.4ghz (up from 3.5)—almost a full gigahertz jump. That’s double what I currently have, which is already a solid 4.0.
