Your new Ryzen 5 3600 is overheating even when not in use.
I just installed my new PC with a Ryzen 5 3600, and it's running at 50-60°C when not in use. I'm unsure what to do because I'm not very familiar with these settings.
50-60c during idle indicates the cooling fins aren't secured correctly. Aim for about 40c.
I applied the pre-applied thermal paste from the stock cooler, which I had installed previously, but the results remain unchanged.
It limits performance when things get busy. At around 70°C it’s still okay. What’s really confusing?
