I just swapped... Corsair Dominator Platinum DHX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 2800MHz (Extreme-Performance) for... Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) C16 1.35V. In Task Manager it shows the new RAM speed matches the old one. Shouldn't it be 3200? I only have the new RAM now. The previous RAM was removed because the system wouldn't boot with both installed, which was unexpected. My motherboard is Asus Z170 Pro Gaming. The new RAM went into the third and fourth slots, while the old one was in the second and fourth.

All the RAM modules will function together at identical rates. The performance will match the lowest-speed module. This is set at 2800.
