I recently got a new computer and it began freezing after about a month and two days. It would restart every now and then, sometimes in just ten seconds or up to fifteen minutes. At first I assumed the issue was related to my RAM, but after testing all slots and booting with a single stick, the same problem persisted. I'm using the 1.30 BIOS version and need advice. CPU: Ryzen 9 7900X Motherboard: ASROCK B650M PRO RS Wi-Fi RAM: Corsair Vengeance, 32GB DDR5 (2x16GB), 6400MHz, CL 36 PSU: SEASONIC G12 GC 750W GPU: RTX 2060 Super from Gigabyte SSD: Kingston NV2 1TB, PCIe 4.0 NVMe, M.2.

Is there any energy use during the restart? If not, consider reinstalling Windows using fresh installation media or the appropriate installer for your operating system.

Have you managed to check the thermals? Do you feel you gain more time with each attempt at night?

I haven’t started checking windows yet to see if power use was an issue, but it keeps restarting even in the BIOS. I’ll attempt to install a fresh Windows once I’m back home.

If it's rebooting on the BIOS screen, it's unlikely Windows is the problem.

I ran some stress tests before the full freeze and restart started. The RAM would sometimes crash when XMP was active, though everything else stayed stable. I didn’t see any major impact on my first attempt after switching RAM, but it would become more noticeable if I changed the RAM type.
