Your new PC isn't working properly.
hello friends, i haven't posted much lately and chatgpt isn't really assisting me. maybe i'm not using it right. i just got a used pc and it keeps blue-screening sometimes. even with a 3060ti, ryan zeon 5 4650g, 16gb ram, and an asus prime a520 m with 400w, my fps isn't as high as expected. i was hoping for around 300+ fps in league of legends, but it usually drops to 110-150 or even lower. could there be an issue or something wrong? i'd really appreciate help here. my discord is azu.nai :0
Your refresh rate suggests you're using the integrated GPU on the 4650G. Does the HDMI/DisplayPort cable connect to the motherboard or the 3060 Ti?
You need a stronger power source. Nvidia suggests at least 600 watts for the RTX 3060 Ti. Since this card draws about 200 watts, operating it at full speed will consume nearly half of your power supply’s capacity. Running it hard can cause instability. Check "View full specs": https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/gra...ext=NVIDIA Broadcast App-,Specs,-RTX 3060 Ti As for your overall low frame rate, it’s likely the issue lies elsewhere. Your monitor should be connected via a video card port, not directly to the motherboard. Also, ensure you have the newest stable drivers from Nvidia installed. The built-in Windows driver won’t deliver optimal performance. Remember, ChatGPT isn’t an infallible source—don’t depend on it for solutions.
The monitor is connected to the graphics card, I’ll keep an eye on it and watch for any issues.
You're experiencing lower FPS despite using a 650W PSU and trying various solutions. It might be due to insufficient cooling or thermal throttling, especially if your graphics card isn't handling the load well. Even with a better processor, if the GPU struggles under heat, performance drops. Check temperatures, ensure proper airflow, and consider upgrading cooling if needed.
