Your new PC isn't starting up.
You just completed assembling your new PC and tried connecting the power cable, but only the motherboard cover came up without any power reaching the rest of the components. You checked the cables several times and still didn’t get a solution. I’m here to help you troubleshoot.
Remove the GPU and detach the PCI cables from the PSU if it's modular. Check for any loose connections between the CPU power supply and the motherboard. Notice a possible unsecured cable leading from the CPU power supply to the motherboard. This might be an unusual issue—do you have power reaching the motherboard before turning on the PC?
Reviewing your photo, the locking tab for the 8-pin appears to be positioned on the left side of the center, not the right. The included cables should show a cluster of six on the right of the 8-pin, followed by two on the left.
Also verify your power switch for activating the machine. Disconnect reset, let power come from the board, and touch any metal object to briefly interrupt power.
