Hi there, I recently changed my GPU from a 1050ti to an RX 6600, hoping for improved performance. But things didn’t go as planned. I have the newest drivers for the RX 6600, yet my performance is still lacking. I’m trying to determine if it’s my i5-8400 processor or the 550W power supply that’s the culprit. Since the GPU was swapped, my CPU cooler is working intensely, and CPU usage stays at 100%. Games now load much slower than before. Could anyone help identify whether the issue lies with my processor or power supply, or if there’s another factor affecting performance? Thanks for your support!

Your CPU temperatures are being monitored, and you're currently gaming. Your cooler is equipped for optimal performance.

I don’t understand the temperatures, but I played Fortnite. It loads slowly and the textures take a long time to appear even after lowering the graphics settings.

Track temperatures using HWinfo files that can be saved. Also, could you share your CPU clock speed during this time? (You can find it in Task Manager if needed.)

Hello, I used the suggested configuration for some time and reached a maximum of 60. The processor speed is approximately 3.40 to 3.70 GHz.

It appears your CPU might be limiting performance. Some users use the term loosely, but I believe it could mean the GPU is struggling or the CPU isn’t cooling properly. Please verify temperatures and let me know.

Have XMP activated? Start up the BIOS and verify. I’m experiencing a blank screen, but I suspect another person could assist.
