Hey! I built a new PC but it’s having some problems. When playing games like Cod Cold War, the system often slows down or freezes, forcing me to turn it off with the power button. On my AIO pump, the RGB lights either stop working or flicker. This usually occurs when another tab is open on another monitor, like a live stream, but it also happens when nothing else is running. I’ve tested the same game on an older PC with identical settings and it runs perfectly. Below are the specs for both machines.
It didn’t work as expected. The game is functioning, but other components—like Windows—are either extremely slow or completely unresponsive. If you close the game window, everything freezes, including the game itself. This might point to a RAM problem. As shown in the video (please check the upload), the pump RGB is lagging and stops spinning entirely. I’m hoping the pump continues to operate during this issue FullSizeRender.MOV
Visit the motherboard website and look for BIOS under Support/Downloads. If the version is newer than the one shown by cpu-z, update it. GPU bios are best verified using GPU-Z. The same advice applies—check the manufacturer’s site for details. XMP is often seen as overclocking; in some cases it may cause instability, so you might test without it to see if problems continue.
