After a major troubleshooting session, it became clear that everyone faces similar issues, though not exactly like my situation. I upgraded from a Ryzen 3600 to a 5800X3D and before that, I updated the BIOS on my Gigabyte X570 UD (rev 1.0) from version F21 to F36. The main issue was that the CPU didn’t boost at all—it ran at 3.3GHz and had a VDD of 0.95 with SoC at 0.975V. I attempted updates to F37a and F37d, but encountered an "invalid bios image" error. I reset the CMOS and tried older BIOS versions, but the clock still refused to exceed 3.3GHz on AIDA64 and Cinebench. Please help—consider using an older CPU when you have more thermal paste.

Other than that, it seems like you're trying to determine how Windows configurations affect the chipset drivers.

I also managed it (just didn’t note it earlier). I got it from the link you shared: https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/...t-am4/x570

Well then hrmm. Usually this tends to be pretty much bios related or chipset drivers related. It kind of sucks since this comes down to how the board manufacturer updates their bios. Like almost every single topic i have seen on this on a quick search are "Oh they finally released the bios and it worked!" so you may have just gotten a board with bad bios support

Today's morning update shows I'm still using Hopium. I downloaded the 37D BIOS file again, extracted it normally, and it worked without the "invalid bios image" error. It seems everything is functioning properly now. However, some other 37D BIOS files appeared corrupted. Overall, it all works as intended.
