I recently dusted my PC with a fine brush and used a vacuum cleaner, but when I blew air on it, the cleaner worked. Afterward, my computer ran smoothly but my mouse slowed down. What could be causing this issue?

Ensure your mouse is ready by opening the casing, wiping down the rollers and the ball. For infrared models, use a lens cleaner or microfiber cloth to clean the sensor. If you lack these tools, a cotton swab or tissue can work temporarily—avoid products like Kleenix as they may damage fibers. Even small amounts of dust can lead to issues.

I attempted to clean it, but it didn’t help. My mouse is optical and the problem persists. I also tried another wireless model I own, but the same issue appears. It seems the mouse itself isn’t the problem. Thanks anyway!
