I recently purchased a Ryzen 5 5600G and have 8GB of 2x3600MHz RAM. I’m considering the Gigabyte B450M DS3H v2 AM4 motherboard. According to what I read, the chipset doesn’t support 3600MHz native speeds, but can it run at that frequency if I enable DOCP? Or maybe I could overclock it myself?

The 5600G is a Cezanne CPU designed to operate smoothly at 3600 MHz memory speeds. RAM modules exceeding 3200 MHz will require overclocking options such as XMP or DOCP.
