Tried launching a brand new PC to set up Windows and the BIOS froze during installation. After about 45 minutes I restarted and it froze again in BIOS. Removing the GPU and a RAM stick helped, but the display still wouldn’t show anything. After taking out the CPU and storage, I reinserted them and got no output on the GPU. What’s going on? Could the motherboard be the issue?

He read the headline and found it confusing. It was a moment he didn’t expect to discuss Willis. The bios stopped working. Make sure the CMOS is cleared and try again. This might not be a fix. At least we have a clear answer. Edited June 20, 2023 by Bombastinator

You're asking if your setup always boots into BIOS instead of Windows or a bootable drive, and you think the stick might be damaged. It could be the hardware issue, so consider replacing it.

It's clearly the top choice without any doubt.

It’s hard to ignore the fact that an unplugged keyboard can be overlooked. Such issues pop up with everyone at some point (though missing a key press does too). It seems like something that can happen for pretty random reasons. I don’t think hitting enter alone could cause it, though. These tips are solid: double-check your setup and watch for syntax mistakes. Everyone gains from them.

I plugged in my keyboard just once, but it didn’t stay connected properly. Then I realized the second keyboard wasn’t working at all, which made me panic and accidentally hit my head on the wall.

I handled it using a mouse. Things can happen. We become overly enthusiastic. The tech crowd was an amazing performance. “Is it connected?” “Did you switch it on and off?”

The keyboard's RGB lights were turning on, which made me think everything was fine. I repeated entering the BIOS key around seven times before giving up and realized what was happening.
