Uncertain if this channel is meant for game troubleshooting; however, I have a query about MW2 (2022) and its graphics options. Why does my weapon appear grainy and the mil dots or lines seem distorted, similar to how it looks in daylight with shadows on gloves? I've disabled film grain and adjusted anti-aliasing settings, but the issue persists. It seems worse anti-aliasing is visible in other games too, though less noticeable than this. This might be due to my recent switch from a 60Hz 24-inch monitor to a 144Hz 27-inch display. All drivers are current. Hardware: NVIDIA 1660 Super, AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (6 cores), 16GB RAM, MW2_Trim_Trim.mp4
Several options enhance film grain effects. I’ll list them: Film grain Depth of Field (notably with DLSS in this game), SMAAT2X which increases grain on weapons, and Filmic SMAAT2X for improved appearance. The naming seems similar, so the order might matter depending on your preference.
It made it a bit better by changing some of those but not perfect yet idk if it can get any better. I also mixed with the shadows settings that effects near weapons and such to make it a little better. Please tell me if you know something else
