This occurs daily at least five times or more. Whether I open my browser or play online, it will suddenly stop working for a brief moment—usually just a minute or less. I’m confused about why this happens. I’ve read some discussions about similar problems but haven’t found a fix. Some users had to restart the router for the connection to return, while others experienced outages lasting over an hour. I don’t need to do anything; it should reconnect automatically, yet it keeps disconnecting unexpectedly. Also, living in a small village in Romania means the internet setup here is... okay but not perfect. (I’m not sure if this is universal, but I have no idea) This issue involves a TV, phone, and internet connection together. If the internet fails, there’s no Wi-Fi or internet access, but the phone and TV remain functional. If I understand correctly, there’s a modem—possibly referred to differently in my region. Here’s an image of the phone modem: https://imgur.com/a/vdAqahj. The cable from the phone goes into the “Phone” port, while the LAN and WAN ports are on it. The Ethernet cable coming out of the WAN port connects to another modem (possibly named differently: https://imgur.com/a/zZd12mE / https://imgur.com/a/inqwQZO). This one also has the wall-plugged antenna cables. There’s an Ethernet cable from this unit going into the router, and another from it connecting to the PC. I can’t test if the router is faulty because I can’t bypass it. Whenever I try to connect via Ethernet from my computer, neither internet nor Wi-Fi works. I’ve updated the router firmware thinking I might have damaged it, but it kept saying “The Connection was reset” during an upgrade attempt. It runs Windows 7 and uses version 1.11, which is outdated. Here are two system logs: https://pastebin.com/kY67sP5b and https://pastebin.com/nuNb7qSb. My PC is custom-built on Windows 7, all drivers are current. Connection status: DSL ISP – RCS & RDS. Before switching to Telekom Romania, which was slower but more reliable. I don’t remember any major drops, though they were unreliable. They used older cables and antennas, and we still use them now. Could this setup also be causing the problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
