You purchased a Ryzen 7 3700X, refreshed the BIOS, swapped in the new CPU, and now everything seems to work fine—no display signals or issues. It’s possible something was overlooked. Double-check connections, power settings, and ensure the GPU is properly recognized.
Everything seems properly linked. I often overlook the CPU power connectors, but with this configuration, you need to use the GPU outs.
The whole project came together a few weeks back with the help of my more seasoned friends, and I don’t think any of this was an issue, though I’m keen to try it again—maybe something slipped up. But right now it’s too late because it’s almost nighttime.
If you still have the 2200G, I'd place it in a box with just the stock cooler and connect it to power, then run a test POST (Power On Self Test) to see if the BIOS flashes correctly—this helps confirm it boots properly. I’d double-check the BIOS version while you’re at it. Apart from a mismatched BIOS or assembly issues, I don’t see any other major problems preventing the PC from starting.
