Hello! I’m experiencing an issue where my new GPU isn’t turning on at all, while the old one functions properly. The PC starts up, but there’s no signal on the monitor and no fans are running for the new GPU. I think I’ve connected the power cables correctly, and the PCI slot along with the display cable seems to work fine since the old GPU does the same. Could there be some compatibility problems or driver issues affecting the new GPU? I haven’t tested it on another computer, as this is the only one available for testing. My system specs are: motherboard ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS WIFI II, AM4 platform, DDR4, with a PCIe 4.0 x16 and M.2 slots. The CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X (8-core, 16 threads, 3.8/4.7GHz, 105W, 7nm). I use Kingston FURY Beast DDR4 3600MHz 32GB CL18 RAM, a 2x16GB DIMM. The PSU is Corsair RM850x 850W ATX12V v2.4 (80 PLUS Gold), and I have a 2TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD with 7000/7000MB/s speeds. The new GPU is an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC with PCIe 5.0, 16GB GDDR6. My OS is Windows 10 64-bit.

It’s tough to say honestly, but it seems your GPU might not be working properly. You could swap it for a different one if needed. It looks like you’re using a solid setup, and there’s no obvious reason it wouldn’t run smoothly.

Could it be that you need a 2x6+2 pin power cable for the GPU while it uses 2x8 pin slots?
