Installed Intel XTU to lower CPU temperatures, setting a fixed 1V instead of an offset. Experienced fluctuations around 1.06V despite attempts to force 1V, which seems different from actual throttling behavior. Tried another offset but still no consistent drop. Voltage during gaming is roughly 1.125V. Any suggestions on why it doesn’t go lower?

Consider updating the BIOS to a newer release with better fine-tuned voltage management. If you don’t have the newest version, have you experimented with throttle stop? It’s not ideal for overclocking, but it shouldn’t cause issues in under-volting scenarios.

I have not tried it.. but it looks way more complex and it seems more likely that I could accidentally mess something up with that terrible UI. so many buttons which are small
