Your laptop is VR ready.
It doesn't actually work with G-Sync. The main NVIDIA GPU turning on and off randomly makes it difficult to fix one at a time. You can try changing it, but it won't adjust itself if the issue persists.
Indicates minimal configurations and only a few titles work in VR - basic games.
The Rift doesn't allow mobile GPUs with Nvidia Optimus due to high latency issues.
I took that as the explanation it didn’t even begin on my laptop (and didn’t think the GT130M was at fault). Just wanted to see how it would react for a joke.
The minimum requirement is 970, and 980M is also sufficient. Running all games at low settings and low resolution on a 970M system will allow most games to function smoothly. For maximum performance, use 980Ti or Fury.
Certainly, I noticed you wanted to clarify that the 970/980m were suggested as a minimum for optimal enjoyment.
