You own an MSI GT72 2QD Dominator with 16GB RAM, an i7-5700HQ processor, and a GTX 970 graphics card that can be boosted to around 15% stability.

What power you are missing depends on your specific needs and goals. Could you clarify what you're referring to?

Based on my investigation, it doesn't appear to be available there, and it isn't highlighted as a feature on Newegg either. It seems you likely need a 980M, which is typically VR compatible.

Consider using Steam's VR utility for a more precise estimate, though results may still be uncertain. http://store.steampowered.com/app/323910/

The minimum requirement is 980M, which means you should add roughly 40% more power.

It relies on the Intel integrated graphics for a specific reason. Nvidia Optimus is great, though!

Your laptop supports G-SYNC, which means it won't use NVIDIA Optimux.
