**If anyone else finds this and has the same issue. Replacing the M2 storage drive seems to have solved the issue** Hi all, So for the past few days my computer has had some odd issues. On Wednsday my computer shut it self off, no blue screen, and took a few minutes to get back on. It would power on, but wouldnt get past the ASUS logo. After a couple of attempts it would post in safe mode. Then I was able to enter the BIOS and select my Windows drive and boot with no issues. Then I had no issues for a couple of days... Fast forward to Saturday morning and my computer is on for a couple of minutes ant it shuts off. I get it to power back on and it turns off again. It does this a couple of times and eventually it turns on (after 4-5 attempts). I now try and update the BIOS in hopes of solving the issue. But unfortunatly this didn't help. My computer specs: MB : Asus ROG Strix X570-F S-AM4 CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X GPU : GeForce RTX 2070 Super RAM : Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200MHz 2x16gb PSU : Corsair RM850i HD : Corsair MP510 + Some random 4tb storage beast from WD Cooler : Noctua NH-U12S OS : Windows 10 64bit This is what I have tried to far: - Running one stick of RAM. Issue still persisted. Tried both sticks seperatly obviously, but no luck. - Reinstalling the OS. Didn't change anything. I wasn't hoping for much here, but gotta try. - Running just one HD. Only M2 disk which holds the OS. Issue still persisted. - Swapped to another M2 slot on the MB. Issue still persisted. Some observations I have made before the PC crashes: - Programs may close at random a minute or two before the PC crashes. Discord for example will shut down and maybe reopen. Then PC crashes a minute later. - PC will sometimes freeze for 30-40 seconds before it shuts off. - At first I didnt get any bluescreens. Now I do, but they don't really tell me anything helpful. I have ran the Windows memory tester and it says PC has a memory issue. However it doesn't specify wether or not its the RAM or VRAM or whatever? Should I just replace the RAM? Or could the HD or motherboard be the issue? Thank you in advance, everyone!
I just received this notification while playing World of Warcraft. Does this indicate a problem with your RAM?
Changed the slot but still facing the problem. Didn’t try memory testing since I can’t locate a USB drive. Will purchase one and check it out tomorrow.
I shared the same concern, which is why I worry it could be the CPU causing issues.
