I observed that my gaming internet performance is quite poor, especially for titles like Rainbow Six Siege or PUBG. Using a CAT 5E Ethernet cable directly connected to my router isn’t helping. When I tested another device in the house, its connection was faster. This suggests an issue with my own setup. My machine is a Z370 Aorus Gaming 5 and I’ve installed the newest drivers.

Did you verify for any background processes consuming excessive bandwidth? Also consider disabling 'Delivery Optimization' to determine if it resolves the issue, as it can significantly increase usage.

I'm checking performance on both my device and another machine to ensure consistency.

Did you verify the Ethernet port speed and ensure the same cable was used between both devices?

The motherboard specifications verify that the connection on his device is Gigabit, as he shared the details.

The queries are: were you using identical Ethernet cables for both devices during testing? Have you attempted to reinstall the drivers?

I've checked the same cable on different machines. They're functioning normally at full capacity, but mine is significantly lagging behind.

I haven't attempted that before. I'll check how it turns out.
