Yes, you can download games on your MBP with a fast internet connection. You can transfer the game to an external device, move it there, and then connect back to your rig to transfer it again. For managing updates, ensure you have a stable setup and consider using automatic update features if available.

It might get even worse... You could be from Australia, honestly. The simplest option is to get a complete image from a friend’s computer or use their picture, move it to a USB drive, wipe your own files, transfer the USB to the Steam apps folder (which I have three of), and then tell Steam to install there. It checks everything and lets you know it’s ready.

Everyone nearby seems perfect, but my area stays stuck in the old system... And honestly, that "friend" idea won’t work. I’m just trying to figure it out.

Ignore the internet speed details. However, please paste the copied content from the external SteamApps folder to your PC.

Really? Are there versions of the games available for Windows that you can install locally? That way you won’t depend on a stable internet connection at home.

The speeds mentioned work on both OS X and Windows. You can download files from the developer’s site in various formats beyond Steam.

Yes, it is possible. Download the Windows installation media using the MBP's internet, then transfer the files to your virtual machine and install them.

I have a very close friend who has no idea about gaming or computers, which is kind of sad. But I’m actually pretty happy with what I’ve chosen. It really suits me.
