your cpu is operating at 4.5 ghz with a voltage of 1.265, under 60-70% load and 40 degrees idle. is this voltage suitable? i noticed some users reporting issues at lower voltages, but i keep seeing bsos when reducing them. please help me understand. thank you.

You might need that voltage to keep things steady. Have you attempted lowering it gradually to check if your OC remains stable? Your temperatures are normal, so the voltage seems acceptable.

Voltage is important, but temps I think are more so, 60 - 70 is a pretty decent temp, on my old 4970k, my voltage I got down to 1.24, stable, but I had to delid to get temps into the low 70s or so with spikes in the high 70s, that's under real bench and I'm on a custom water loop, course, I was at 4.6 too, but still, that extra 100mhz could easily have been the culprit for the 5 or so C hotter... Keep in mind, there's always some one faster cooler stronger bigger richer, whatever, if it gets the job done, it's a good deal.

4.5 ghz 1.265 seems stable for about 5 hours of gaming, but I can't get it stable at 1.3 voltage. I don't know why.

Be content with a reliable OC Namz__Hack. A few Intel chip samples perform better, making the gap between 4.5 and 4.6 almost insignificant.

I lowered it to 1.260, but it wasn't stable during gaming. I only adjusted the voltage and CPU ratio; everything else stayed the same except those two from the UEFI.

I lowered it to 1.260, but it wasn't stable during gaming. I only adjusted the voltage and CPU ratio; everything else stayed the same except those two from the UEFI.
