I adjusted the thermal paste on my computer and then reassembled it. It still showed the error for missing memory even after insertion. I switched to a different stick, which fixed the issue. Then I tried the same stick on another machine and it worked. Now I'm using the original memory in the original setup, but it doesn't resolve the problem. The code is MB: 270-a CPU: i5 7400 Memory HyperX ddr4 8gb.

Did you take out the CPU from its socket? If yes, reinsert it carefully and verify there are no problems at the contact pads on the bottom of the CPU or with the pins in the socket. It could also be due to excessive pressure if you over-tightened the cooler.
