For some unexplained reason, my "server" refuses to power up. It sometimes works but only for a short time—usually an hour at most—before restarting repeatedly. I've tried various fixes: changing the CMOS battery, reseating RAM, disconnecting HDD, network cards, and USB devices. Still no success. The power button on the PSU spins fans, which suggests internal components are active. It's possible a USB port on the motherboard is causing a short circuit, preventing boot. If you suspect something physical is inside, a photo would help. Otherwise, I'm unsure how to remove it safely. Let me know if you need more details.

Do you believe I require a new PSU? If yes, that's not the end of the world.

I believe it's time for an upgrade, we should save up and get a new server eventually.

The HP SFF from that time began failing suddenly, requiring a complete dismantling including CPU removal, thorough cleaning, reinstallation, and repairs to fix the issue.

Would you consider repasting it? I’ll need to get some thermal paste too, since I don’t have any.
