Headphones and microphone stopped functioning, they work on other devices. I’m not sure what’s wrong. I tried updating drivers but nothing helped. My motherboard is a Gigabyte B450 DS3H.
They seem linked via a USB port or a jack. Verify that the connections to the motherboard are establishing contact. If they do, and the microphone and headphones function with other devices, it might mean the USB port or jack is damaged and no longer working. In that scenario, try connecting it to another USB output on your PC (if available) or use an audio jack with a USB adapter.
Check the audio settings on Windows to confirm both devices are visible, or determine if there is no connection at all.
