Identify the available drives—counting both SSDs and HDDs—and their connections. Note that M.2 slots often share bandwidth with SATA ports, which can disable the SATA connection if M.2 is used.

Could the SATA or power cord not be properly fastened on the drive? Should you verify the connections when the computer is turned off?

I've tested two cables with two drives and made sure they're correctly installed, but detection still isn't happening. Could you provide any hints about the issue?
