The issue relates to system specifications; otherwise, the game would operate slowly regardless of the RAM type used. A separate thread would be beneficial in my view.

The issue seems to be resolved, as you now have a 16gig stick at a lower price. Would the Trident Z be beneficial?

don't require the trident Z; simply use two sticks at once. A second memory module costs only 16GB. Performing a 1.45V manual overclock can also boost clock speeds on the RAM.

I’d prefer to replace the RAM entirely, and if I do, I’ll also upgrade the CPU for better overall performance. Appreciate the assistance!

What kind of motherboard are you running? Also, could you share the remaining specifications? It seems like the crashes might be coming from unexpected shutdowns in games.

Right now I'm running on a tomahawk b350 with 16 gigabytes of Patriot Viper RAM in one slot at 2400 MHz.

It likely depends on the RAM speed and whether the game runs smoothly. If the CPU is already at full capacity and causing lag, that could be the issue. It might not matter if the CPU is faster than an 8700k, especially since my system handles it well even with stock settings.

PSU? It might be the single button problem, but you shouldn't be experiencing crashes.
