While playing titles like Apex and Rust, my GPU frequently spikes to 100, then drops to zero and causes crashes. On Apex I can play a few games before it fails, but on Rust it’s impossible to load servers without freezing or forcing quits. Previously I didn’t notice this issue and games ran smoothly. Now I’m stuck after crashes that freeze or crash my PC. I’ve shared a GPU log when it fails to load a Rust server, along with task manager details and stability test results. I’ve checked similar forums but most discussions involve older systems or lack troubleshooting steps. I’m stuck with this problem, especially on high-impact games like Apex, MW2, and Rust. I’ve attempted underclocking, overclocking, updated BIOS, reinstalled drivers five times, and run GPU stability tests. My setup is an Intel i7 7700K at 4.20GHz, 16GB RAM at 1069MHz, TUF Z270 Mark 2 board, GTX 1070, two monitors, 550W PSU, Windows 10 64-bit, and all data stored on SDDs. The GPU is running at 550W with a 64-bit sensor log file named "GPU-Z Sensor Log.txt".

I've faced a similar situation before, where my computer would freeze completely during games. I couldn't get anything to respond without having to shut it down entirely or force-quit. It turned out the issue was related to my RAM. To confirm, I would run memory tests or replace one stick at a time to see if the problem persisted.
