I didn't catch the exact moment but it seems to be happening this week. When creating a new tab—especially switching from incognito to regular Chrome—I notice the issue. Often, after maximizing a window (like File Explorer) or opening it from the taskbar, the white space doesn't behave as expected. It appears the address bar isn't present, making actions like clicking close confusing. I haven't changed anything except restarting the system and haven't installed any programs recently. Right now, I use F11 twice to switch to fullscreen and then exit, which temporarily fixes it. This method doesn't work with File Explorer, so I had to restart then.

I see both Chrome and Edge (the new browser) are quite alike. The term "Explorer" was discontinued some time ago, so Edge might just be a version of the same software. It’s possible you’re encountering the same issues because they’re built from the same foundation.

The person I was discussing was the file explorer, not the browser. I understand the mix-up because I didn’t include the word "file" in every instance. I adjusted the thread’s layout to prevent more confusion.
