When you have the budget, opt for 16GB of 3000+ RAM. Otherwise, an 8GB 2400MHz unit will improve your speed without breaking the bank.

You can change the memory type to anything up to 2933, which mostly fixes the speed issue. I used a budget 2133 chip and pushed it to 3200 on an R5 1400.
