Hello Solvers, I'm experiencing slow performance while playing high-end games on Ark, satisfying titles, or other demanding titles. Despite updating my computer's hard drive, graphics driver, and Windows 10, the lag persists and even affects my keyboard. I'm not very skilled at technical troubleshooting, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. My system specs are: 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11900F @ 2.50GHz, Corsair 32GB RAM, RTX 3080 Graphic card, ROG STRIX Z590-A GAMING motherboard. My Wi-Fi speed is 55.25 Mbps download and 16.56 Mbps upload. Please help me get back to enjoying those high-end games! Thank you for your time.

I don't have a storage drive, but you can check your available drives through your device settings or operating system.

Check if the games are stored on the HDD or SSD. If they need to load big assets during gameplay, a slow HDD could cause brief delays.

I play half of my games on an SSD, like my Ark game, but it’s slow to load the computer and keyboard.

Absolutely, people often criticize Ark for being unoptimized, but its performance has significantly improved recently. A 4K resolution should definitely handle it well—your PC is fine with 1440p and still runs smoothly. It seems you're also experiencing issues with other games as well.

my monitor is a 4k benq display and the other titles i play work fine, though cities skyline and similar games are okay. however, some of the games i play have keyboard or computer lag, but minecraft runs smoothly unlike the others. i’m not sure why this happens.

Playing online games via Wi-Fi seems feasible, but a wired connection offers better stability, speed, and reliability without interference. Think about changing your network setup.

Need more Cat 6 cables? Consider using a switch or hub—those often caused clashes, not switches.
