Hello, my recent games have been unstable lately. In Valorant it often crashes when loading maps or switching sides, in Fortnite it fails when I drop in, and Rainbow Six has random crashes. I've tried reinstalling Windows, updating BIOS, using an older GPU driver, testing different RAM slots, and adjusting GPU settings. Still no clear solution. It could be my mainboard or CPU, but I need your advice. Attached are my MSInfo and a crash log from Fortnite. In Fortnite it seems some assets can't load properly. If you'd like, I can share a memory dump from a Valorant crash. Thank you for your help! FortniteGame.log msinfo32.txt

Do you have any system details? When it crashes, does it return to Windows or does everything freeze and crash? Your first idea is to leave only one RAM stick in place and check if the issue persists, then gradually add more sticks until it works. After that, try moving each stick into its own slot to confirm functionality. Disabling XMP might help if your processor and RAM support it.

Hello, thanks for your message! I’ve installed my system: i9 13900k Corsair H150i (old Platinum), MSI RTX 3070TI Gaming x Trio MSI MAG B760 TOMAHAWK WIFI 32GB 6000-40 Trident Z5 RGB. I attempted to use both in the same slot as recommended, but it still crashed. I’ll try the other ones too. I’ll check back if it works, possibly after two weeks since I’m on vacation then.

Strategic sound planning, yet verifying every slot is mainly about ruling out channels that are nonfunctional or have faulty connectors. In addition, assess your PSU's wattage—brownouts can lead to instability—and if crashes appear only when under load, consider running a CPU benchmark (like cinebench) against a GPU benchmark to identify which part is responsible.

And I didn't mention running Memtest86+, but I saw no errors in both DIMMs. I'm also testing the 8x PCIe port on my motherboard now.

I've got a fresh motherboard ready for testing, but the issues keep happening—probably with the RAM or processor.
