Hi, I use a laptop and I've been having this problem where my clock speed is about 3.00GHz+ when I'm playing a game which I believe is enough yet my fps is still low when I play the game. I have a i5-1035G1 CPU @ 1.00GHz and my laptop is turbo boosted so it overcomes that. My fps is still low though on games, any solutions? Thanks. Also, if you could dumb the solution down so I could understand that'd be great, I'm not so great with "techy-type" things!

Which games are you playing? Do you have a GPU or an Intel HD graphics card?

It seems you're experiencing issues without a GPU. Consider reducing resolution and graphics settings.

I don’t have a GPU, so I wasn’t expecting it to be an issue. What exactly are they doing? I rely on built-in graphics.

Create visuals using integrated tools, though results won’t match top performance. Reduce resolution and graphics options to boost frame rates.

This device is designed for everyday tasks like office work, web browsing, simple 3D effects, and light gaming such as League of Legends or Minecraft. Running demanding applications—like Battlefield 4—will require low settings, possibly around 720p, to even reach 60 frames per second. If you have an office laptop with standard specs, expect it to struggle with modern AAA titles unless you lower the resolution significantly and hope for better performance.

You should have asked about buying advice if you weren’t sure what it offers. It mainly displays everything you see on the screen. Intel HD graphics are sufficient for basic tasks and light games, but more demanding games require significantly better GPUs, which your current one cannot handle.
