So I have set up a new PC: Processor : AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (6 cores, 12 threads) - Viper Steel 3600MHz Power Supply - 650W from Deepcool. The CPU cooler is just the stock one for now. Motherboard : Asus Prime B450M-K II GPU : GTX 1070 (used) Monitor : Asus Viewsonic VX2458-C-MHd with a refresh rate of 144Hz. I don't know what's happening sometimes when I play Valorant, my FPS hits a cap at 144 but it never drops again. But I still get lags whenever enemies show up because the game says I'm getting 144 frames per second even though the actual number is dropping down to around 137~. I tried tweaking everything on the internet through YouTube and nothing fixed it. Any help would be really appreciated
Here is a PSU that has good reviews, but it's not the most powerful or high-CPM option on the market. You should check if you can get this exact model for less money elsewhere before buying it.
