I recently assembled my own computer and acquired a few components from a friend. Among them was a motherboard. I'm fairly sure I installed it correctly, but when the PC powers on and connects to the monitor, no signal appears. I've tested various monitors and cables, but the fans are spinning and the CPU is overheating. What could be the issue?

I believe the issue isn't with the RAM I used or its arrangement.

I agree with your CPU concept. Since both your CPU and motherboard are old, I don't think the RAM is the issue. I've tried different RAM and rearranged them, but nothing changed.
