Your Fallout 4 settlement was quite large before the game crashed. You adjusted the settings with a script to boost the cap size, allowing you to expand Spectacle Island. After constructing two five-story buildings, it reached a scale similar to Goodneighbor town. Once you started adding your power armor, the game began to crash. You had to remove some items and reduce lighting, especially the ceiling fans, which had the biggest effect. I’ll share screenshots soon and wonder if others tried removing the cap and faced similar problems.
Find the SSex mod, it should assist you. I think it offers more than just script tweaks.
It makes sense why I had no issues at the beginning of the game, but by the end it just became unstable and kept crashing.
