As discussed earlier by @Levent, consider linking another device straight to your machine. I’m mainly considering the switch because of its age. 10/100s typically come from the 90s or early 2000s generally.

Sure, I just connected it to another port on the switch, and still nothing. Plugging in another cable to my PC, and the lights are still OFF.

Absolutely understand that point. It would certainly make a difference if you connected a laptop directly to your PC and checked whether the ports on both devices worked.

I’ll review it today and look into purchasing a new switch if it makes sense. I plan to invite my friend over to inspect the switch, cables, and everything else. We’ll use a tester to verify there’s nothing damaged or broken. Thanks for guiding me in the right direction—I really appreciate it (xD). I’ll keep you posted by Friday, maybe sooner. If necessary, he’ll come over to test everything at my place on Sunday.

You mean what I’m saying, I wasn’t fast enough. It’s a joke. Still, let’s hope it’s the switch or cable—those are simpler and cheaper to swap than a motherboard. Plus, there are USB Ethernet devices too.
