Hello everyone! I just set up a new motherboard and CPU (Gigabyte B450M DS3H... Ryzen 5 3600). I’m facing some performance issues. When my Ethernet is connected, it detects my WiFi and works fine, but the connection is extremely slow. The only indicators are on my IO Shield – the LAN port lights orange and there’s a strong red light beside it. Could you help? I’m not sure if it’s a hardware problem, but I’ve tried all software fixes like drivers and connection settings. Thanks!
The speed test shows your internet connection speed in megabits per second (Mbps).
Site speed is listed at 29.92 Mbps, yet downloads feel like they’re transferring nearly one kilobyte per second
You're asking about the speed of downloading files, specifically Steam content. It means how quickly you can get the game or software from the internet.
I haven’t managed to obtain any updates yet. I’m struggling to download the Nvidia drivers for my graphics card, and the speed is extremely slow at 100kb per second.
Yes, it works. It can be executed from the command line and configured on one PC as a server while the other serves as a client.
You can check if the IP address looks correct by verifying its format and range. Use an online IP lookup tool to confirm it matches the expected type (IPv4 or IPv6) and falls within a valid geographic area. If it doesn’t match known patterns or appears suspicious, it may be incorrect or malicious.
