Your Ethernet is getting a public IP, not from your router. It’s probably connected to a backup LAN port on your modem. Check the cable connections and switch it to one of the LAN ports on your router.

My Ethernet uses 78.84.224.1 as the default gateway, while Wi-Fi connects via 192.168.1.254

That's a public IP, some device on the internet, which it shouldn't be. Did you try what I posted above? You should have your ethernet plugged into a LAN port on your router.
