Hello there. My old computer has been functioning well until recently. It started working normally until last month. After pressing the power button, it would turn on for a few seconds and then shut down abruptly before restarting but failing to load. For troubleshooting, I've done the following: 1) Used different CPUs, 2) Switched GPUs, 3) Tested RAM in various slots, 4) Swapped all RAM modules, 5) Used a different PSU, 6) Checked for short circuits on the motherboard, 7) Cleaned the system, and 8) Reset the CMOS. None of these steps resolved the issue. My guess is the motherboard might be faulty, though I'm not entirely sure. If you need to replace it, LGA 775 boards are affordable.

Consider using a different CPU power cable, as it might indicate a power delivery problem

Executing a CPU requires significant heat, you'd need to warm it up for some time. RAM seems like the likely culprit.

consider swapping the CMOS battery, it lasts about 5 to 10 years. If I recall right, the CR2032 is common in many flashlights and could be purchased in a pack of ten for a dollar.

None of these options succeeded. I will switch to the Gigabyte P35 motherboard.

It began after replacing the dead HDD on the computer. Then the motherboard kept refusing to work.
