I own a Dell G5 gaming PC and need to replace both my M.2 SSD and add a 1TB HDD, but it isn’t showing up. I’m really upset because I want to upgrade for playing GTA V. I’ve tried installing and fixing things, but it won’t boot from the old drive. It’s still in legacy mode. Could you help me fix this?

Learn more about the older and newer SSD options. M.2 SSDs may come with either SATA or PCIE protocols. It's recommended to obtain PCIE M.2 for better performance since PCIE is significantly faster than SATA. If you originally purchased a SATA M.2, you might need to exchange it or use a PCIe-to-SATA adapter card to achieve similar speeds.
