Hello everyone, my CSGO ping the majority of the time im playing is rediculously hight from 180-800 and it makes the game unplayable, i have tried so many things, launch options, regeddit files and i've even opened my NAT settings for csgo and all my steam games, i dont know what to do, its driving me mad, its my favourite game and i can never enjoy myself when playing, any help would be massively appreciated, i'm on BT by the way, my ping never used to be this bad either

It relies on your link to the game's hosting. Do the machines you're using in the same area as you?

Usually I reach around 400kb/s, but I didn’t experience this issue before—it’s quite annoying.

Play on servers near you whenever possible. Most matchmaking functions well. Consider disabling any background services that consume bandwidth beyond essential tasks.

Relies a lot on your internet service provider. One friend had a slow 5mbps link but faced high ping times on certain servers. Meanwhile, I have a faster 4mbps connection but still experience delays of around 40ms.

Choose your Steam download spot at the nearest location you reside. I'm based in the UK and have options for Manchester or London. Look for public servers with less than 100 ping, and you can also try playing on them.
