People often exaggerate models to make them look larger, but I used to face some "4:3 moments" where the field of view was limited and parts were hidden.

I employ a white box crosshair.
Crosshair alternative to othercl_crosshairgap set to -1.
Classic cl_crosshair dot labeled "0".
Use alpha 1 for cl_crosshair, alpha 999 for cl_crosshair.
Crosshair outline thickness 1.
Box crosshair style cl_crosshairthickness 2.6.
Crosshair size 0.5.
Color white with r=255, g=255, b=255.
